The track begins with the source who is close to the road, to the left as you walk from Miraflores.

The trail leads to a barrier that prevents the passage of motor vehicles. We turn the barrier and continue on the track, bringing between pine trees.
The uptrend is prolonged until the House Forest Oven, on the right side of the track almost horizontally. We horizontally without deviating to the right or left.
We arrived at the corner of the creek Sestíl of Maíllo, where the trail makes a turn to the right.
Giramos to the left and continue on the track, climbing gently. Exit the pines by a barrier Canadian, and ascend along the trail through an area without trees, leaving the right diversion goes to the Majada Cojo.
The slope increases. We descend to the bottom of the trough and we
crossed the stream of Morcuera. The track begins to rise sharply. It
makes a sharp turn to the right and slightly below the slope is soft.
We went to the road of Miraflores - Rascafría, address Rascafría below

In some sections there are some good slopes, such as the lowering of
the stream Canencia, in the latter part of the trail, and the promotion
to the forest trail of the House Oven. The entire route goes between
pine trees.
We started at the Port of Canencia. We take the trail to the right, among the pines. We turn the barrier is about one hundred meters from the road and follow the track. Curve to the right and one more closed to the left, down. Leaving a meadow on the right, follow the path, now nearly horizontal, and came to a fork. We take the ramp on the left, we are still left by the time we get to the fork. We started the descent into the trough that's going on the front and toward our left.

Climb down the runway and came to a small fountain at the left side of the road. We still rising and found a fork on the left which is divided into two others. If we take the track that is more to the left, amounting very inclined arrive at a stretch almost horizontally rotating clockwise on the same slope that the paved road, but much higher.
Closed curve to the right. In the outer part of the curve we find a branch track down the stream of Sestíl of Maíllo, joining the Green Path Port Canencia. If we continue down the runway in which we came we started with a steep rise, a sharp turn to the left, continue to gain altitude more gently, and desembocamos nearly horizontal on the track running from the Port of Canencia the Port of Morcuera. Before coming to this track we had a ramp on the right, connecting with which to leave right at the fork triple that will be seen below.
We remain on track to the left. We spent the first stream, huge curve to the left and crossed the stream of Sestíl of Maíllo by a bridge of large slabs of granite. We arrived at the Casa del Oven, down gently. Here is accentuated the fall a bit and we have reached the barrier is at the Port of Canencia, after the source of stone. Port Canencia - Source Collado - Miraflores de la Sierra
Collado. Route that passes through the Path of Great Course CR-10.1
Between Port Canencia and Source Collado (next to Bustarviejo), following the Cañada Real Segoviana to Miraflores. Most of stretches of decline.

We started at the Port of Canencia. We take a dirt road on the right side of the road, where it is the sign of the harbor, next to a milestone. Subimos by a cleared area in which the road runs. On the left there is a barbed wire. The road descends gently. On the left, after the close, we see the prairie Collado Closed. We see some features piles of rocks on the left and right, divisamos the valley which runs through Miraflores and the road along the slope Head Chest Scatter, left the valley.
Strong letdown in the middle of the slope on a dirt road. We crossed a small manadero and lose height in a double curve tilted. A little further, we lose again with another double-height curve.
We descend by a cleared area in the middle of two bodies of pines. A little further down the path becomes easier and turns at a right angle to the right. This track climbs to half hillside and leads to another track wider than low to medium slope.
We continue on this track on the right. We leave it to the left of the runway and a natural pool arrived at the vicinity of the football field. We near the paved road to the right, and the Source of Collado on the other side of the road. Slow and crossed the road and arrived at the source. We continue gaining altitude by the hillside behind the source. We find a path that descends to the right and crosses the Royal Segoviana Cañada. On reaching the other side, we left the track on the left and continue on a path parallel to the creek. We arrived at the corner of a meadow and abandon the sidewalk to cross the meadow. At the other end will have to go up with the bike behind him two or three meters, and get another close sidewalk by which we will continue several meters to the left. Reach new areas of grasslands along the stream. Lower back to the edge of the creek, coming close to the viaduct where it crosses the railway line on the stream. Miraflores de la Sierra - Najarra
From here the views of the surrounding land are superb ...
Text of the official guide paths, City of Miraflores de la Sierra.
- Distance ..: circular route of about 18 miles.
- Duration...: Five hours (approximately).
- Drop ....: 1044 metres.
- Difficulty ...: High.
We started the route in the Place de la Fuente del Pilar in the direction of the road from Puerto de la Morcuera.
As we did in the route number 2 in the street we deviate from the source Cure to the bridge of the same name on the river Miraflores, and we crossed him ascend by the traditional path of the Umbria Raya, bordering the river , reaches the current reservoir.
Continuing the ascent by the plains of the Killing reaching El Paular path that will lead us right to the top of Puerto de la Morcuera, and from here, a little kilometre climb free on his face west will put us on the cusp of the Najarra to 2106 metres.
As drive time looking at the vegetation has changed dramatically, the dense oak have been down and after passing an area of pine wood, and on the slopes of La Najarra the forest disappears completely give way to creeping vegetation more suitable for climates high mountain.
From here the views of the surrounding land are superb: the north Valley Lozoya and snowfall Peñalara summit, the roof of the Community of Madrid, the small hill south of San Pedro and the plains between Manzanares and Guadalix and substance, closing the horizon, the huge village of Madrid.
We came back with our own steps to Puerto de la Morcuera (1834 meters), and now, we take leave without the old road from El Paular over six miles downhill, reaching humilladero San Blas. Halfway between the port and humilladero spent by the former descansadero The Parada del Rey.
The current humilladero San Blas is nothing more than a simple wall with a niche, covered two waters, and eave based on two pillars monolithic without tilling. We entered the town of Miraflores and always climbing reach the square where stands la Fuente del Pilar, thus closing the circuit.
For those who seem too long the journey, the return can tackle by one of the roads from El Paular emerging on the left and after passing through the dense robledo de la Dehesa of Raya, achieving Source Cure for back again to the people from where we started the route.

The Najarra - Altos de Matasanos
This tour covers most of western Long Rope, with a estribación south where connects with the Pedriza

After encircling the rocks turn right and we climb into a kind of false hill, located at the foot of another set of rocks.
We leave the rocks to the right going into fence of barbed wire.
Rodeamos right by the next set of rocks. The slope increases, we continue towards a rocky and overcome by the left.
We went out to a wide area and almost no slope from where currency geodetic the apex of the summit. We crossed the area and reached the summit of the Najarra.
The upper part of the Najarra is a kind of plateau where we will continue westward.
We arrived at the western end of this plateau and continue towards a
house made of stone that we see in the last rocks on the Hoyo de San
Blas. We descend into the hill, leaving the house to the left.
As we begin the climb we found a rock right in the middle of the hill, easy to climb, approximately 2020m high. We can round on the right across a small canchal. It starts a path from the bottom of the canchal down to the port of Morcuera. Use this path if not the lap we descend the Pedriza.
Once surrounded the rock climb down a path that is on the top of the hill. The last ramp of the road leads to the Loma Bailanderos. We continue towards the OS through the area on the right of the summit. We descend to the right on a hillside, turn left and we went to a zone canchal, which will cross by the side of the valley Lozoya, for the top.A little further we find another way of canchal that comes immediately to pass de la Peña. We gain altitude on the path. Giramos a right turn towards the summit Asómate de Hoyos. When we reached the summit, we see a long estribación southward until it reaches the Rocks Linderas and Los Altos de Matasanos. Farther divisamos Towers of the Pedriza.
We lose altitude by the ridge that runs south to reach the Stones Linderas and Los Altos de Matasanos. To return from the Highlands of Matasanos until hill de la Peña, without having to climb back to the summit Asómate de Hoyos, back from the Loma Bailanderos by the way round. Then descend to the hill and when we got to Najarra peñotillo reached the path that lies at the bottom of canchal located on the northern slope. The trail descends diagonally toward the port of Morcuera.
We spent a trough, we descend one step and spend another trough after
that, followed by the way, arrived at the remains of some masonry
walls. We spent another trough and continue along the path that leads
directly to the same port where we left the cars.
From Los Altos de Matasanos can traverse the entire Pedriza ending in the area of Singing Cochino. It can leave a car before starting the march or walk to reach the Royal Manzanares and from there catch a bus. From the hill of Miradero to Singing Cochino there is a complicated letdown almost 900 metres to ride through the interior of the Circus Pedriza, reaching near the refuge Giner. From there continues to Cochino Singing on the road known as Highway of Pedriza.
We started down toward SE for a trail that leads from the hill of Miradero, towards the cliff of La Bota.
We continue by a thick wooded area. The road tour angled to the right and continues to decline before reaching La Bota.
We left the stream of Poyos, to the left of the curve in a trough, in a bend to the right. We continue down the path that meanders.
We turn next to a rock and go down one step, with a arroyuelo to the right. We cross another stream on some slabs that make bridge, a little later, to the right. The trail winds and came to an area cleared of trees. We spent a short piece of low slope and came back to the trees. Advancing few metres and turn right. We descend along a arroyito and we face some rocks in an area cleared. Some 50 meters to the left there is a rocky boat.
We continue down south on the western edge of the boat, almost to the brink of the brook. Soon hitch with a trail between trees brings us to the crossroads of Llanillos. We continue to head south. The trail meanders while still losing altitude. After we left leg straight along the stream of Poyos, to our left.
We head south and came to a point where the road is dropping sharply. Lower the way and arrived at the plain Peluca. On our left, at the top of a slope, we see the refuge Giner. We continue on the motorway of the Pedriza that leaves us in the parking area of Singing Cochino.

The Long Rope
Cordal stretching from the port of Navacerrada to the port of Morcuera

- Duration...: Approximately 6 hours 35 minutes.
- Start .........: Puerto de Navacerrada.
From the same port turn right around the cafeteria Dos Castillas. Giramos again right behind the same building and we climb a concrete runway that leads to the underside of the lift station.
Rodeamos left by the building of the lift station and we climb the concrete ramp that leads to the premises of the television Ball of The World, almost parallel to the ski lift cables in the first stretch.
Subimos along the slope, making several curves, going under the lift cables. A little further up the trail extends in a diagonal upward until reaching the hill down from Guarramillas until cordal of Cabrillas.
Giramos to the left and we climb by strong slope at the top of this hill. At a certain point the trail is divided into two branches that will join again slightly higher. The cost is prolonged to the right, and after a closed bend reach the hill of Guarramillas.
We arrived at the First Guarramilla. A few metres to our left we see the station of the chairlift. We continue down the runway in the direction of the buildings of the television station. We spent a repecho hard and very short and exceed the Second Guarramilla, which is a few meters to our left. After a brief decline in the track came to a hill. From here we climb to the buildings of television.
We arrived at the hill of Valdemartín and following a path, we began a long climb by estribación western Las Cabezas de Hierro. Remontamos a first step, after which the slope is a little softer, a little later a second and then a third step. Cross diagonally upward canchales toward an area of a small highlight is quite up in the profile of the hill down from the summit.

Advancing along the ridge to find a few meters senderillo that descends sharply to the right, just when it appears that there is no longer step. This path avoids the rocks making a diagonal to the left. Almost at the end of the descent we went through some canchales stones and reached the small hill that separates the two heads. Remontamos few metres of slope, until we reached the summit of the Head Mayor.
From this summit can choose to return to Navacerrada, for the same itinerary.
If we decide to complete the Long Rope, moving toward the northeast by cimera plateau until we come to the point in which continuous Long Rope. We lose height to the left, leaving the right some rocks. When you reach the hill of the Peña de los Vaqueros, we went through the right side of the boulder and remain so high cordal, rising by a ground clutter. The climb up to reach the height of the Lomas de Pandasco.
We remain on the hill until the Zorras hill, and continue through the top of cordal direction almost at this (SEN). We started to go up and spend an attic. We arrived at the top of Navahondilla. Rodeamos an area of rocks on the left. A little further in the direction we see is the milestone of Asómate of Holes and come to its summit. From there we move towards the SE by the plateau cimera, turning the NE when we start seeing scrub occupy the hillside.
We descend a path that runs through the bushes and then lost altitude by a hillside to reach the hill of Pedro de los Lobos, located right at the foot of the hill the Bailanderos.
Remontamos Loma Bailanderos of the area surrounding rock on the left, we had a stretch of canchal, an area with grass and another stretch of canchal. Subimos by side diagonally to the right. Remontamos a slope and came to the top of the hill the Bailanderos from where they enjoy fabulous views Hoya San Blas.
Cimera continue in the area and go down the hill from the Najarra. Bordeamos some rocks on the left and continue down the hill. A few doors down the trail winds between rocks and arrived at the rock, located just before the Najarra hill, in full divisive. Rodeamos the rock on the left. The senderillo that we will continue beginning at the bottom of canchal located on the northern slope. We descend in a long diagonal to the port of Morcuera, among scrub.
We spent a trough and then go down one step. We spent another trough at the bottom step and came to the remains of some masonry walls. We spent another trough dry for a road width and horizontal to the port.

Itinerary for Pedriza
We start the tour in Manzanares Royal, next to the church of Our Lady of the Snows. We crossed the street and came to the Plaza de Manzanares Royal. There it can begin to follow the trademark yellow and white PR.C.1

Exit the people through an area called The Alcornocal, also known as The shooting, by the number of films that were filmed there.
The previous Pedriza separated Cerro del Collado Alcornocal by the Ave Maria. We follow a path that goes to the left and that brings us to the plates Falcon and Indian.
We continue until the Great Glen, and thence northward to the Meadow's Yelmo. We continue keeping the marks of PR.C.1. We leave the Yelmo on the left. Some of the walls of her face East are very vertical, proof of the existing vertical fracture.
We arrived at the hill Dehesilla. The valley is asymmetric. The slope on the left is softens at the base with a slope of blocks, on the right is a continuous roquedo where some forms of curious names like The Bone, The Buitreras and The Bird.
We are still in the PR.C.1 and arrived at Tolmo. The Tolmo is a big block fallen, probably from the north slope of the previous Pedriza. From here we can see, north of the Circus Pedriza and westward Massif The Elephant. We now marks the path GR-10, appreciating the hillside west of the previous Pedriza and some of its rocks as El Rocódromo, Camel or Peña de la Mora.
In address to the people, under the brands of CR-10 spent by the Camorza Gorge, which can be a strange shapes called marmitas giant.
