Fiesta and traditions
SAN BARTOLOMÉ Y SAN ROQUE
During the last weekend of August are held in Navalafuente their
fiestas patronales, on 24 and 25 August, in honor of St. Bartholomew
and San Roque.
City Council prepares each year a programme of festivities with a wide
variety of activities aimed at all audiences, among which are:
Contest Gourmet.
Shows musical evening.
Passacaglias.
Novilladas.
Sports activities.
Masses and processions.
Dinner popular: great caldereta of beef with potatoes.
Mile urbana
Also, the city center is installed with a large fair attractions for all audiences.
SAN BLAS AND SANTA AGUEDA
E early February, 3rd and 5th are held in Navalafuente the festivities in honour of San Blas and Santa Agueda.
Day 3 is the competition "Dress your heifer", in which the participants
presented their "heifers", consisting of a wooden frame with horns that
were dressed in a towel and is decorated with scarves and ties.
The jury awarded each year the prizes to the most original and most traditional.

On February 5, the day of Santa Agueda, is celebrated every year dinner
brotherhood, in which all the neighbors gather at the Assembly Hall
municipal invited by the City Council, putting aside their quarrels, to
share a pleasant evening.
CARNIVAL
El Tuesday of Carnival is celebrated in Navalafuente with the
participation of all people, young and old alike with their parade
floats touring the village streets, and ends at the Municipal Assembly
Hall, with a large chocolate to which are invited all the neighbors .
